Volunteer and Employment

We are seeking a Director of Community Services.  The successful candidate will oversee a city-wide program of community-based mental health care for older adults, manage relationships with key stakeholders in the field, and expand SPOP’s program of Training & Education. The position is part of the senior organizational team and reports to the Chief Program Officer.

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with the New York City aging services network and direct experience in mental health and/or aging
  • LCSW certification
  • A collaborative and cooperative work style
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
