Service Program for Older People

Bereavement Support

The loss of a loved one can be traumatic at any age, and we understand that grief can leave one lonely, depressed, unbalanced and uncertain.

With the right mix of therapy and support, there are ways to get through the trauma of loss. Experience has shown that one of the best ways to find comfort is through speaking with and learning from others who have gone through a similar experience.

Our award-winning Bereavement Support program is open to adults of all ages and provides non-sectarian support in a group setting.

We offer specialized groups for spousal/partner loss or non-spousal loss.  The groups are led by peer volunteers and supervised by a mental health professional.  All participants receive an initial interview.

Advance registration is required.
