We work in partnership with senior centers, hospitals, and dozens of community-based organizations to make mental health care available to older New Yorkers. Our program of Community-Based Mental Health Care is the recipient of the prestigious American Psychiatric Association Gold Award, and features:
- home-based psychotherapy for clients who are homebound due to physical or psychological disability
- clinic satellite offices located throughout Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn – click here to see where we are
- a partnership with The Edie Windsor SAGE Center to provide therapy in an LGBT- & aging-friendly setting
- specialized therapy at VISIONS/Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired at Selis Manor
- outreach workshops at designated senior centers to de-stigmatize mental health
- treatment in Spanish, Cantonese, and other languages
- specialized therapy for disorders related to caregiver distress
- partnerships with New-York Presbyterian and Mount Sinai Health System
